KanyiDaily recalls that Happie Boys gained attention on social media earlier this month when they called out Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, a clergyman who had sponsored their education in Cyprus.
The duo, Matthew Precious Kelechi, and Amakor Johnson criticized the clergyman for ending their scholarship and abandoning them in Cyprus after sending them to the foreign country.
They alleged that Apostle Chibuzor provided financial support for only the initial six months after their arrival, but ceased assistance thereafter, forcing them to drop out of school.
In his defense, the clergyman explained that he stopped sending them money due to the scarcity of dollars in Nigeria and suggested that the boys return to Nigeria or Benin Republic to continue their education.
However, Happie Boys declined the offer and expressed their preference to remain in Cyprus. They also apologized to the cleric and thanked him for his scholarship program.
In a video circulating on social media, the two boys could be seen dancing to the song “Organize” by Nigerian singer, Asake, while entertaining club guests in Girne, North Cyprus.
KanyiDaily recalls that Happie Boys recently denied exposing Apostle Chibuzor saying: “Jesus, I had a terrible dream about that man, he eat people flesh. He got his miracle power from India.”
