I Shall Strive To Discharge This Confidence Reposed In Me – NSA, Nuhu Ribadu

Newly appointed National Security Adviser (NSA), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu has appreciated all those who felicited with him on his new appointment.

Ribadu was appointed as the NSA by President Bola Tinubu last week Monday.

He replaced Babagana Munguno, who was appointed by former President Muhammadu Buhari.

Taking to his official Twitter handle on Sunday night, Ribadu also promised to discharge the confidence reposed in him by Tinubu.

“Many of you–friends and well-wishers–have sent out kind words on my appointment as the National Security Adviser (NSA) by His Excellency President @officialABAT. I sincerely appreciate your felicitations and prayers.

“I shall strive to discharge this confidence reposed in me,” he wrote.

Ribadu is the pioneer Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Meanwhile, Kanyi Daily reported that a former Niger Delta Militant, Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo congratulated Ribadu as the new NSA.

He expressed his belief that Ribadu will bring innovations that will drive the security apparatus of the nation to an enviable height.
