Police Arrests Man For Vandalising Lagos Bridge Railings

The Police have arrested a man for vandalising Lagos bridge railings.

The Spokesman of the state police command, Benjamin Hundeyin disclosed this in a short tweet on his handle on Thursday.

Hundeyin said the man was arrested on Wednesday.

According to him, a motorist informed the police of the vandal on Carter Bridge.

The police spokesman added that investigations were still ongoing.

He wrote, “At about 3:15 am yesterday, a motorist informed the police of a vandal on Carter Bridge. Officers from Ebute-ero Division swiftly moved in and caught Mastru Mutairu ‘m’ aged 30 actively vandalizing bridge railings. He took to his heels but was arrested.”

Meanwhile, Kanyi Daily reported that the state police command has rescued a baby girl from under a parked bus in the Ketu area of the state.

The rescue of the baby followed an alert raised by a resident who heard her cry from under a bus at about 4:30 am on Wednesday.
