The commission made the refutal in a statement issued on Monday afternoon by its Spokesman, Wilson Uwujaren.
“The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, is currently not recruiting. The public is therefore advised to disregard information circulating in the social media purporting the commencement of EFCC’s 2023 online recruitment from July 4th, 2023,” the statement reads.
The statement said the fake recruitment exercise is the handiwork of fraudsters.
The statement advised prospective applicants not to click the link (https//spukd.com/EFCC-2023-Recruitment-Portal).
It also warned the public against clicking any link that cannot be found on its website (www.efcc.gov.ng).
“We also use this opportunity to urge members of the public to cross-check any EFCC employment information in the social media with the Commission by email to: info@efcc.gov.ng or call 08093322644,” the statement concluded.
