Burna Boy Makes History As First African Artist To Sell Out Stadiums In US, UK, France, And Holland

Nigerian Afrobeats superstar, Burna Boy has made history as the first African artist to completely fill stadiums in the United States, United Kingdom, France, and Holland.

The news was shared by African Facts Zone on their official Twitter page on Monday, July 17, 2023, generating excitement among music enthusiasts worldwide.

Burna Boy’s rise to fame in the African music scene has been nothing short of remarkable, with his distinctive sound and unique style captivating audiences around the globe.

His exceptional musical talent has garnered immense praise from fans, evident in his series of sold-out concerts in key European countries.

On July 8th, Burna Boy made history by selling out New York’s 41,922-capacity Citi Field. In April, he achieved the same feat at London Stadium, which boasts a staggering capacity of 60,000.

Continuing his streak, Burna Boy sold out the renowned Paris La Defense Arena, with a capacity of 40,000, on May 30th. And he is set to repeat his success at the GelreDome in Holland, which accommodates 41,000 attendees, on July 23rd.

African Facts Zone summarized this groundbreaking achievement by stating, “Burna Boy has become the first African Artiste to sell out stadiums in USA, England, France and Holland.
