Rita Edochie Breaks Silence Over May Edochie’s Decision To Seek Divorce From Husband Yul

Nollywood actress, Rita Edochie has prayed for the marriage of her in-law, May Edochie, the first wife of her colleague and nephew, Yul Edochie.

This is coming after May Edochie initiated divorce proceedings against her estranged husband on Monday, July 10, 2023, following his second marriage to actress Judy Austin.

The mother of three, who has never hidden her disapproval of Yul’s marriage with Judy, visited the court with her legal counsel to file a petition seeking the dissolution of their 18-year-old marriage.

However, it was gathered Yul Edochie refused to accept the originating summons, which had caused a delay in the filing of the divorce proceedings.

Taking to her Instagram page, Rita Edochie shared a photo of May Edochie and her three children, expressing her lament over the current state of their once peaceful home.

She pleaded with God to safeguard the family, acknowledging that the household, which previously comprised six individuals, now consists of four, with the absence of the late Kambilichukwu and actor Yul Edochie.

Th actress prayed for divine protection over the family’s daily activities and implored God’s guidance, recognizing His omniscience and His unwavering commitment to their well-being.

She wrote, “GOD PLEASE PROTECT THIS HOME FOR ME. THEY WERE SIX IN THIS PEACEFUL HOME FATHER, MOTHER AND FOUR LOVELY CHILDREN ENJOYING THEIR PEACEFULLY. TODAY, THEY ARE NOW FOUR IN THE SAME HOME.
