Singer, Bnxn Reveals How He Got People To Listen To His Music

Nigerian singer, Daniel Benson, popularly known as Bnxn has disclosed how he got people to listen to his music.

Bnxn, formerly known as Buju said one way he achieved that was giving people time to start listening to and enjoying his music.

He stated this in an interview with Punch on Saturday while speaking on the challenges he encountered in the early days of his career.

He said, “At first, the challenge was getting people to listen to me. When something is different from the norm, it might take a little time for people to adjust to it. However, there are some people who enjoy and appreciate it before everyone else come on board.”

On his International performances, Bnxn said it was hard for him to identify any as his best.

He said, “There have been a lot (of memorable moments) from performing with Wizkid at the O2 events centre in London to being on the bill at massive festivals in places like Brussels (Germany), Portugal, and Paris (France). There have been many memorable events, and I look forward to creating more amazing memories.”

The “Pray” crooner, who was recently signed as an ambassador for a telecoms company, 9Mobile, stated that he would add value to the brand.

He said, “I intend to upgrade the level of sound and music used to communicate with customers, and since there is a need for the attraction of teeming youths, there needs to be an adjustment in the type of music used to communicate important information to them.”

On the similarities between his brand and the telco, he said, “They include carving a niche for one’s self and standing out with confidence. That is all I am about, and I feel the company shares that vision.”

In other news, Kanyi Daily reported that the Acting Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun has condemned the action of the policemen who ran a van over a handcuffed man in Ekpoma, Edo state on Thursday, June 29, 2023.

Egbetokun also ordered the officers, who have already been arrested to report to the force headquarters in Abuja.
