In a video shared on social media, the girl could be seen rejecting birthday presents, insisting that she desires to meet her idol, Destinu Etiko.
The young girl’s mother, who shared the video on Instagram, revealed that her daughter had been persistently requesting to meet the actress for over a year.
Her infatuation with the actress even caused some distractions at school, according to her class teacher who complained about the girl’s obsession with Destiny Etiko.
In response to the girl’s fervent wish, Destiny promised to meet her on a specific date after her birthday.
However, upon learning that the actress wouldn’t be available on her birthday, the girl was heartbroken and broke down in tears.
Moved by the child’s emotions, Destiny Etiko decided to change her plans and promised to meet the girl on Monday morning.
She wrote, “She told her mum that all her WISH is to see me on her birthday which is today, so her mum flew her from Lagos to ASABA just to see me. Unfortunately, I traveled to the nearby town and told the mum day I would see them tomorrow morning.
“Boooooooo I got this from the mum saying she is crying heavily DAT her wish of seeing me today won’t be accomplished. Pls, my princess @princesscandice11 am driving now to see come u you, my baby. Love u too. Pls, stop crying”.
KanyiDaily recalls that Destiny Etiko recently shared a heartfelt message about her experiences with heartbreak and loyalty.
