KanyiDaily recalls that Ayo Makun and Mabel faced a tragedy on Sunday, August 6, when fire gutted their mansion in the Lekki area of Lagos, destroying properties worth millions of naira.
Taking to his Instagram page, the comedian revealed that Mabel ran into Olu Maintain and another gentleman at a shopping mall in Atlanta, United States, and they chose to extend their charitable hearts to his spouse due to the fire that recently engulfed their house.
AY publicly acknowledged and thanked the “Yahooze” crooner for his considerate gesture of covering the expenses incurred by his wife during their chance meeting at the shipping mall.
The comedian also urged his followers and fans to join him and his wife in acknowledging Olu Maintain and his companion for their exceptionally thoughtful display of compassion.
He wrote, “@realmabelmakun and I ran into @mrolumaintain and @dewavesempire at Lenox Mall today. These brothers of mine decided to show her love based on what she lost through the fire incident that engulfed our home. Please help me tag and thank them. The whole thing was just too spontaneous. We are very grateful”.
KanyiDaily recalls that in 2022, Ayo Makun, popularly known as AY, announced that he and his wife, Mabel Makun, had welcomed their second child, Ayomide, after 13 years.
