Neo, who is currently participating in the ongoing All Stars show, engaged in a conversation with his fellow housemates where he disclosed that Vee attempted to reconcile with him nine months after their split.
The reality star expressed confusion over the fact that Vee magnified minor disagreements into significant issues.
He disclosed that when they last spoke after their broke up, Vee reopened old wounds and brought up her beef with his cousin, Venita as a reason for their relationship drama.
Neo explained that due to the grudge between Vee and Venita, he had to stand firm in his decision not to rekindle their relationship to prevent further tensions among them.
He said, “One of the reasons why I didn’t give my ex (Vee) a second chance was that 9 months after we broke up, she wanted to come back to me but was still holding grudges with my cousin (Venita). I had to take a stand that it won’t work btw us.
“And I’m like can’t break up with me after 9 months and you’re trying to come back and you’re still telling me you’re holding onto a grudge with my family. Someone you’re not supposed to. I will not inspire you to separate from your family. And she was just going off in harsh tones.”
In a swift response, Vee took to her Twitter page and declared that Neo’s claims were baseless. According to her, Neo lacked substantiated proof for his assertions.
She succinctly tweeted: “No evidence.”
KanyiDaily recalls that Vee Iye had recently admitted that she was hurt after the breakup with Neo Akpofure, stressing that their relationship was good until things went sour and both parties decided to part ways.
