HAPPENING NOW: President Tinubu Swears In New Ministers

The 45 newly appointed ministers who were assigned portfolios last week by President Bola Tinubu are currently being sworn in by the president.

The swearing-in ceremony is taking place at the Aso Rock Villa.

The new ministers are being sworn in in batches of five alphabetically according to their starting with Abia.

Prominent among the new ministers are former Rivers State governor Nyesom Wike in charge of the Ministry of Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and Festus Keyamo manning the Ministry of Aviation.

Some other ministers are Wale Edun (Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy), Adegboyega Oyetola (Transportation), David Umahi (Works), Festus Keyamo (Aviation and Aerospace Development), and Betta Edu (Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation).
