During his recent performance in Detroit, United States, Burna Boy called for a moment of silence as he pay his respects to Wizkid’s late mumu, Mrs Jane Balogun.
Describing Wizkid as his brother, Burna Boy acknowledged the depth of the singer’s grief and empathized with his feelings, recognizing the profound sorrow of losing a beloved mother.
“Before I go on, one of my brothers lost his mother, Wizkid. I want to say Rest In Peace to his mother. I can’t imagine how it would be to lose my own mama,” he said.
