KanyiDaily recalls that Bobrisky lost his father, Kunle Okuneye in the early hours of Monday, August 14, at his home in Lagos. The cause of his death was not released.
In a series of posts shared on his Instagram story, Bobrisky announced that he has canceled his plans for his 32nd birthday party in order to host a lavish funeral for his father in the next 41 days.
The crossdresser, who expressed his emotional exhaustion from crying, revealed his father passed away at the age of 78. He emphasized that the age of parents doesn’t make their loss any easier to bear.
He wrote, “Have canceled my birthday party. Instead, I will be doing my dad’s final burial in 41 days. He died at age 78 days. Have cried and cried I’m now tired. No matter how our parents are old you will never want them to go,”
