In a viral video, the man raised concerns about the apparent unfairness surrounding the sympathy and support being directed towards Mohbad’s mother, despite the fact that it was the singer’s father who raised him.
The man, who was engaging in a conversation with his friend, expressed his frustration, highlighting that Mohbad’s mother is currently residing in Mohbad’s home in Lekki, Lagos State.
According to him, she is enjoying wealth in the comfort of air conditioning, despite having abandoned Mohbad and his sister 15 years ago. Meanwhile their father, who had worked tirelessly to raise them, is facing online vilification.
He acknowledged that Mohbad’s father may have made controversial statements following his son’s death, but he defended him, noting that not everyone is skilled in communication.
The man lamented the unfairness that men often experience in life and pointed out that being a man comes with its own set of challenges.
@FaladeOlaifa commented, “if you be man for this life I swear life don leave you 5.0 pain me,” emphasizing the difficulties faced by men.
@Seankleann added, “Mohbad’s mother left him for more than 10 years without looking back, yet she’s the one receiving condolences and gifts from celebrities.
“The same energy that was used to criticize his father should be directed towards that woman, but it seems it’s a woman’s world.”
KanyiDaily recalls that Nollywood actress, Eve Esin had expressed her concerns about the parenting skills of Mohbad’s father after he defended Naira Marley’s actions amidst the reported bullying and assaults that his late son endured before his death.
