Police Arrest Nurse Who Injected Mohbad Before His Death

Lagos State Police Command has arrested the nurse who administered medical treatment to the late Nigerian rapper, Mohbad, before his untimely death.

KanyiDaily recalls that Mohbad died at the age of 27 under controversial circumstances on September 12, and was buried the following day in Lagos.

Mohbad’s father, James Aloba had expressed suspicions about the auxiliary nurse who administered the injection to his son, suggesting that it may have complicated his health.

Lagos State Police Command had also established a 13-member special investigation team to delve into the circumstances surrounding the sudden death of the singer.

In a video shared on her Instagram page, Iyabo Ojo briefed fans about her visit to the Lagos State Commissioner of Police and the progress on the police investigation of Mohbad’s death.

The actress confirmed that arrests have been made, including the nurse who treated Mohbad. She added that police authorities are calling on “some people to turn themselves in”.

She said, “They are going to do the autopsy… they have made some arrests.

“The nurse has been arrested, that I know. That is the only information I can give you right now… they have arrested some people. They are asking some people to turn themselves in.

Meanwhile, thousands of fans are protesting nationwide while demanding justice for Mohbad with some holding candlelight processions in his honour.
