KanyiDaily recalls that Ethiopian authorities recently cancelled Rema’s performance in their country due to concerns about perceived satanic symbolism in the artist’s work.
Reacting on her social media page, Gifty Powers revealed that she conducted her own research and discovered that Rema was indeed incorporating satanic themes into his art.
She expressed her disappointment with the trend of people seemingly compromising their beliefs for fame and money, strongly asserting her Christian faith and values.
The reality star also mentioned observing a video of Rema hugging American popstar, Madonna, which further fueled her concerns that he has sold his soul to the devil.
Gifty Powers concluded by stating that she was removing all of Rema’s songs from her playlist and reaffirmed her commitment to her Christian religion.
She said, “To Rema, shame on you. I couldn’t believe it untill researched it myself and found out REMA wore a necklace with a burned church turned upside down, like
“The rate at people selling their souls to this idiotic devil eh!! Y’all think hell isn’t real i…ok nahh. All these are for fame and money. SMH
“Then watched the video of him and Madonna hugging. I knew he had already joined the 666, As the saying goes “Show me your friends and I will tell you who you are”…..You just lost a Fan. I’m deleting all your songs from my playlist. Nobody messes with my religion (Christianity)”
KanyiDaily recalls that Rema’s remix for his smash song ‘Calm Down’ with Selena Gomez recently became the first African song to reach the billion mark on Spotify.
