Nigerian chef, Damilola Adeparusi, popularly known as Chef Dammy, is facing a N20 million lawsuit from her pastor, Prophet Jeremiah Adegoke, just days after she publicly criticized him.
KanyiDaily recalls that Chef Dammy recently made certain revelations about the pastor, who had sponsored her Cook-a-Thon, an initiative aimed at surpassing the achievements of her colleague, Hilda Baci.
Chef Dammy expressed concerns about her safety and indicated that the pastor should be held responsible if anything happened to her.
In an unexpected turn of events, Prophet Jeremiah Adegoke, the founder of Spirit World Global Mission, has taken legal action against Chef Dammy.
The cleric, through his legal representatives, expressed astonishment at what he perceived as a defamatory statement made by the chef.
The pastor’s legal team has requested a retraction of the alleged libelous statement and is seeking damages in the amount of Twenty million naira (N20,000,000).
