The 36-year-old announced this on his radio show, SiriusXM programme, Table For One, on Friday, hours after the release of his new album, ‘For All The Dogs.’
Drake emphasized a need to address ongoing stomach issues that he has been experiencing for years. He expressed a desire for overall well-being, stating that he wants people to be healthy in life.
The rapper mentioned his intention to “lock the door on the studio” for an undetermined duration, suggesting a break that might extend to a year or possibly longer.
He expressed his commitment to address his health issues and take the necessary time to focus on his personal well-being before returning to his music career.
Drake said, “I probably won’t make music for a little bit, I’m gonna be honest.
“I need to focus on my health, first and foremost… Nothing crazy, but just like, you know, I want people to be healthy in life, and I’ve been having the craziest problems for years with my stomach.”
“I’m going to lock the door on the studio for a little bit. I don’t even know what a little bit is. Maybe a year or something. Maybe a little longer.”
This unexpected announcement comes following the release of Drake’s latest album, “For All the Dogs,” a 23-song masterpiece featuring artists like SZA, Bad Bunny, 21 Savage, J. Cole, Chief Keef, and more.
KanyiDaily recalls that Drake recently opened up about watching ‘highest tier of pοrn on a daily basis’ and ‘dating four or five women’ at a time.
