During a recent interview, Patoranking claimed that careful attention to Mohbad’s lyrics would have revealed the challenges he was facing.
The musician stated this when he was questioned about the role of Nigerian music in contributing to societal well-being, in contrast to artists who lead glamorous lifestyles while neglecting their communities.
In his response, Patoranking stressed his close ties to the streets and encouraged the public to be attentive to song lyrics.
Using Mohbad as an illustrative example, he suggested that a closer examination of the late singer’s lyrics might have unveiled indications of the struggles he was experiencing.
“If we had paid attention to the lyrics, we would have seen signs from Mohbad,” Patoranking said.
KanyiDaily recalls that Patoranking recently shared a video of himself with his daughters while expressing the challenges he faces as a father of girls.
