KanyiDaily recalls that on Monday, November 6, Mr Ibu’s family revealed that the actor underwent seven successful surgeries and had one of his legs amputated to save his life.
Following the development, Rita Edochie paid a visit to the hospital where she met with Mr Ibu’s wife, Stella Maris Okafor, who expressed appreciation for the actress’s presence.
In a video shared on her Instagram page, Rita could be seen offering prayers for the actor and his family, while Ibu’s wife responds with “Amen” to her supplications.
Sharing the video, she wrote: “I went to see Ibu John Okafor at Evercare Hospital Lekki Phase 1. He is doing well but all we owe him is to keep praying for him.”
KanyiDaily recalls that Mr Ibu’s family had sought for prayers from the public while hoping for the actor’s swift stabilization to facilitate his transfer abroad for further advanced treatment.
