“If There’s A God In Heaven, You’re Getting Out Of This Bed” – Mr Ibu’s Daughter Declares

Chioma Jasmine Okafor, the daughter of Nollywood actor, John Okafor, popularly known as Mr Ibu, has revealed that her ailing father has successfully undergone two surgeries.

The actor’s adopted daughter, who disclosed this on Instagram, noted that despite the surgeries, her father still displayed his sense of humor, as he attempted to crack jokes as if nothing had happened.

Jazmine expressed her excitement at seeing Mr. Ibu looking better than he did three weeks ago and commended his incredible strength. She shared her hope and belief that he would recover from his illness.

She wrote, “Never seen anyone so strong… even after two major surgeries, you were still trying to be funny like nothing happened, even in your lowest you still cracked jokes!”

“I promise you, if there’s a God in heaven, you are getting out of this bed, stronger and alive. This is the strongest I have seen you in 3 weeks and I’m so excited! Fight this and get well soon, sweet papa.”
