Big Brother Naija reality star, Sheggz has taken a stand in support of his girlfriend, Bella Okagbue, against accent, body shaming critics.

KanyiDaily recalls that Bella recently confronted a troll who mocked her singing voice, and expressed frustration with constant body and voice shaming.

Reacting on his Twitter page, Sheggz condemned the trend of adopting fake accents and commending Bella for embracing authenticity.

The reality star addressed the disturbing prevalence of body shaming and negative comments directed at women in the year 2023, strongly emphasizing that such behavior is unacceptable.

He defended Bella against the critics, highlighting the importance of genuine self-expression and expressing his sadness at the current climate where people feel compelled to shame others.

“So it’s now cool to be faking an accent. I love the fact that my woman is real, true to herself. I think it’s sad that in 2023 people want to body shame a woman and speak down on her. It will never be ok, and if she overreacted then it’s understandable because enough is enough,” Sheggz stated in his tweet.
