The incident, which initially had Nigerians mourning on November 15 following an announcement by Oladips’ management, was later debunked by a video shared by fellow rapper Qdot, who confirmed Oladips is alive.
Qdot playfully claimed that Oladips would make a comeback online if his album topped the music charts, leading to speculations that the rapper had orchestrated the death rumor to boost his music career.
Oladips, who had vehemently denied these allegations, has taken to Instagram, to drag Nasty Blaq for exploiting his past situation for financial gain through a skit parodying the death saga.
He pointed out that despite being neighbors and having a history of camaraderie, Nasty Blaq failed to check on him during the period when the news of his fake death was circulating.
The rapper expressed disappointment that Nasty Blaq chose to capitalize on the fake death saga for comedic purposes without considering the potential impact on him.
He further asked the comedian to keep his name out of any future skits and criticized him with strong language, referring to him as a “fake” individual.
Oladips wrote, “Nastyblaq We Were Neighbours, Me & You Done Siddon Eat For The Same Plate, Siddon Play FIFA Together, Your Car Once Had Issue, That It Was My Car You Took Out!
“You & CrazeClown! We Even did a Skit Together One Time! But When The News Of My Death Was Trending, The 1st Thing You Did Was Make A Skit About It, Without Checking My well-being! Yet You Get My Number, You Dey My WhatsApp, TheCuteAbiola & BaeU Wey Dey Leave Far From Me Reached Out, But Not You!
“This ls The 2nd Time Your Making A Dead Skit With My Name & Ordeal! BRA KEEP MY NAME OUT YOUR MOUTH AND DEAD SKITS!!! FAKE ASS BITCH ASS NXGGA!!”
KkanyiDaily recalls that Oladips had also called out celebrity blogger Tunde Ednut, for circulating the fake news of his death after ignoring his plea to promote his latest album.
