Yul Edochie Faces Backlash For Supporting Francis Ngannou Against Anthony Joshua

Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie is eagerly anticipating the upcoming boxing match between Nigeria’s Anthony Joshua and Cameroonian fighter, Francis Ngannou.

A viral video capturing the initial face-off between Joshua, the former heavyweight world champion, and Ngannou, the former heavyweight world champion in UFC, has been circulating online.

The two are scheduled to engage in a ten-round bout in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Friday, March 8.

In anticipation of the match, Yul Edochie expressed his support by sharing a picture of Francis Ngannou on his Instagram page, affectionately referring to the Cameroonian boxer as “his man.”

The comment section of Edochie’s post transformed into a heated discussion as some Nigerian netizens vehemently criticized him for not rallying behind his fellow countryman, Anthony Joshua.

The actor’s choice to support Ngannou over Joshua sparked controversy and ignited passionate debates among fans in the online community.
