Police Arrest Hotel Workers for Beheading a Lady in Adamawa

Some suspects have been arrested in connection with the beheading of a young lady at a hotel in Yola, the capital of Adamawa State

On Friday, the spokesperson for the Police Command, Suleiman Nguroje, reported the arrest of three hotel employees receptionists Jacob and Yifarta, along with security guard Isah

The police stated that they recovered the deceased’s mobile phone and the sedative used on her from the crime scene.

On January 18, 2024, around 9:30 pm, the main suspect took his victim to a hotel, registered as a guest, beheaded her, and departed with her severed head.

confirming the arrest, the spokesman of the police command said, “The command has so far apprehended three staff (members) of the hotel and recovered drug and handset of the lady. The drug and handset were recovered at the scene of the crime.”

The spokesman reassured the public of the commitment of the Commissioner of Police, Afolabi Babatola, to arrest the perpetrator of the heinous crime

The arrest was made in connection with the alleged assault on his pregnant wife, who subsequently fainted
