The five-member panel, led by Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun, postponed the judgment after considering the arguments presented by the counsels.
Kekere-Ekun stated that parties will be notified when the judgment is ready.
The state election petition tribunal sacked the governor and declared David Ombugadu, the PDP candidate, as the winner of the March 18, 2023, election.
In a divided two-to-one decision, the tribunal led by Ezekiel Ajayi held that, after assessing the evidence before the panel, the PDP candidate substantiated his claim that the poll results were manipulated in favor of Sule.
However, the appellate court reinstated Sule, claiming that the tribunal incorrectly relied on the evidence of eight PDP witnesses, whose statements on oath were not included alongside the petition.
Despite this, Ombugadu has appealed the judgment at the apex court.
