Nigeria Info FM Mourns As Presenter Deborah Ohamara Dies in Abuja Auto Crash

On the busy Airport Road in Lugbe, Abuja, a heavy-duty truck laden with sand collided with a moving vehicle, tragically claiming the life of radio presenter Deborah Ohamara

According to a Facebook user, Nten Ekpang, who shared details of the accident, “A car hit Deborah Ohamara from behind while she was driving and she rammed into a moving trailer. She died from injuries sustained from the crash.”

Confirming Ohamara’s death, Nigeria Info 95.1 FM wrote, “We sadly announce the passing of Deborah Ohamara (Debbie) a brilliant and loved broadcaster with Nigeria Info Abuja

“Ohamara, who was a staff of Nigeria Info 95.1 FM Abuja, was driving from the airport axis when a vehicle hit her car from behind and she rammed into the moving truck.”

The incident, which happened b3 pmpm on Monday, caused traffic gridlock on the expressway

Ohamara, popularly described as the golden voice of Naija Info, hailed from Cross River State.

Kanyi Daily recalls that Anas Isa Sadiq Achida, the 25-year-old son of Isa Sadiq Achida, the chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Sokoto State, had died in a fatal car accident while returning from school.
