The video depicted an Ilorin-born Islamic cleric compelling Naira Marley and Sam Larry to affirm a prayer concerning the people implicated in the demise of the late singer, Mohbad.

Mohbad, who passed away at the age of 27 on September 12, 2023, stirred controversy nationwide, leading to the Lagos State Government initiating a coroner’s inquest into his untimely death.

Following Mohbad’s demise, allegations emerged, leading to the arrest of his former record label boss, Naira Marley, and Sam Larry, among others.

Both individuals have vehemently refuted any involvement in Mohbad’s death.

It was gathered that an Imam recently visited Naira Marley’s residence, intending to offer prayers to the embattled rapper.

However, the situation turned tense as the cleric commenced supplications for divine retribution upon those linked to Mohbad’s death.

Expressing discomfort, Naira Marley and Sam Larry hesitated to respond with “Amen” to the prayer, prompting the Imam to coerce them into saying “Amen” to his entreaties.
