“If Not For Wizkid, The Likes Of Davido Wouldn’t Have A Platform” – Samklef

Nigerian producer, Samklef has lauded Afrobeats superstar, Wizkid, for paving way for young artists in the music industry.

In a post shared on his X page, Samklef claimed that the music industry wouldn’t be where it is today without Wizkid’s influence.

The producer credited Wizkid for providing a platform for artists like Davido and inspiring younger generations to pursue music.

He hinted at his upcoming podcast called “Samklef Table Podcast,” teasing that it would break conventions in the industry.

Samklef wrote, “The industry is not ready! If not for wizkid, the likes of davido wouldn’t have a platform. He is the reason why kids are doing music today. Samklef table podcast coming soon.”
