Drake’s Security Guard Injured During Shooting At Rapper’s Home Amid Feud With Kendrick Lamar

Toronto police have confirmed that a security guard was shot outside the house of Canadian rapper, Drake.

The shooting occurred amidst a rap feud between Drake and American rapper, Kendrick Lamar, marked by diss tracks and public insults between the two artists.

According to police, the guard was shot by suspects in a vehicle at the corner of the Park Lane Circle mansion around 2:00 AM local time on Tuesday before fleeing.

It’s unclear if Drake was present during the shooting or if he was the intended target.

The police have stated that it’s too early to determine a motive for the shooting.

Inspector Paul Krawczyk of the Integrated Gun and Gang Task Force said that Drake’s team is cooperating with the investigation.

Video footage of the incident is being assessed, although details are withheld due to video quality issues.

The victim is hospitalized in serious condition, sustaining multiple gunshot wounds, according to witnesses.

Toronto Mayor Olivia Chow condemned the shooting, urging police to apprehend the perpetrators.

Any shooting is not welcome in this city and I hope the police will find the people that are violating the law and catch them,” she said.

The ongoing feud between Drake and Kendrick Lamar has escalated with personal attacks in diss tracks.

Lamar’s latest song ‘Not Like Us” features Drake’s home on its cover art, alleging disturbing accusations against the rapper.

Drake has denied the allegations in his response track and has referred to his home as “The Embassy,” emphasizing its high security measures.

Police have cordoned off the property as they investigate the shooting, while representatives of both artists are yet to comment on the incident.

This comes a few days after Drake and Kendrick Lamar dropped simultaneous diss tracks ‘Family Matters’ and ‘Meet the Grahams’
