Candidates include Senator Monday Okpebholo from the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asue Ighodalo from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and Olumide Akpata from the Labour Party (LP), all aiming for the highest number of votes.
The winner will take over Osadebe House, the government residence, which will be vacated on November 11 by the current governor, Godwin Obaseki, who has completed two terms.
Meanwhile, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested several individuals suspected of vote-buying during the ongoing Edo governorship election.
