Nollywood actress, Nancy Isime has revealed that she values financial independence more than marriage.

Nancy  Isime appeared on the podcast “Creativity Live With Lynda,” where she shared her views on focusing on career and personal success rather than marriage.

She emphasized that, unlike many young women who see marriage as a way out of financial struggles, her priority is working hard and earning her own money.

The actress also stated that she is so dedicated to her work that she wouldn’t hesitate to leave anyone or any job that doesn’t treat her well.

She highlighted her self-worth and independence, referring to herself as both “the prize” and “the source.”

Isime advised newcomers to Nollywood that the industry often comes with online criticism and that anyone entering it should expect some form of trolling.

She also praised veteran actors like Genevieve Nnaji, Omotola Jolade Ekeinde, Mercy Johnson, and Rita Dominic, noting that many new creatives today lack the commitment to excellence and are more interested in just collecting a salary.
