Ashanti Reportedly Pregnant With Second Child For Husband Nelly

American celebrity couple, Nelly and Ashanti, are reportedly expecting their second child together after tying the knot in a private ceremony last December.

Sources revealed to The Jasmine Brand on Wednesday that Nelly and Ashanti are expecting their second child together.

Attempts to reach the couple’s representatives for confirmation were unsuccessful at the time of the report.

Ashanti’s pregnancy follows the arrival of their son, Kareem Kenkaide Hayne, born on July 18.

Speaking with “Entertainment Tonight”, the “Foolish” singer shared her emotional reaction to meeting her baby for the first time.

“I cried it was just so emotional and spiritual at the same time,” Ashanti said. “Having a vision of this moment for so long … it was such an electrifying feeling.”

Nelly, 50, and Ashanti, 44, first crossed paths in 2003 during a Grammy Awards press event. Their collaborations over the years include hits like “Body on Me” (2008) and “This Lil’ Game We Play” (2024).

The pair dated for a decade before splitting in 2013, only to reunite in April 2023 at a Las Vegas boxing match. By September, Nelly confirmed their rekindled romance, admitting the relationship’s revival came as a surprise to them both.

A marriage license obtained by Page Six revealed that the couple secretly wedded on December 27, 2023, in Nelly’s hometown of St. Louis, Missouri.
