The Christian group sang hymns and held up banners with supportive messages following the election on November 5, 2024.
“Jesus Christ for President Donald Trump,” one of the banner reads, the group sings “Thank you Jesus, we are grateful.”
Some of the banners appeared to be from previous rallies, as one displayed “Trump-Pence” — a reference to Trump’s former running mate, even though JD Vance ran alongside him in the recent election.
The video has since sparked backlash from Nigerian viewers, who criticized the rally as unwarranted and embarrassing.
KanyiDaily recalls that a social commentator VeryDarkMan had criticized a music video by a Nigerian artist, featuring Northern youths expressing support for Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential election.
