Now in its fourth edition, the awards honor media professionals who report on crucial topics such as nutrition security, environmental sustainability, and socio-economic development, showcasing their ability to spark conversations that drive change.
Meet the Judges
This year’s judging panel is composed of respected professionals with expertise spanning media, sustainability, public health, and corporate communications:
Dr. Chioma Emma-Nwachukwu: A leading voice in nutrition and public health and the Programs Lead for the Lagos Chapter of the Nutrition Society of Nigeria.
Rosemary Otalor: A seasoned communications expert and Account Director at APO Group with deep roots in media relations.
Dr. Sunday John: Senior Lecturer at the School of Media and Communications, Pan-Atlantic University, and a specialist in journalism and media studies.
Oreva Atanya: Director of the LBS Sustainability Center at Pan-Atlantic University, recognized for her expertise in sustainability and corporate social responsibility.
Victoria Uwadoka: Corporate Communications, Public Affairs, and Sustainability Lead at Nestlé Nigeria, and a multi-award-winning communications professional.

The response to this year’s call for entries has been exceptional, with 285 submissions received from journalists nationwide before the November 8 deadline. The winners will be revealed at a prestigious awards ceremony scheduled for December, where outstanding stories will be recognized and celebrated.
