Emilia Pérez Leads Oscar Nominations 2025: Full List Of Academy Award Nominees

The 2025 Oscar nominations have been announced, with Jacques Audiard’s unique musical, Emilia Pérez, leading the pack with an impressive 11 nods.

Several other films secured multiple nominations, including The Brutalist and Wicked, both earning 10 nominations each, while Conclave and A Complete Unknown followed closely with eight nods each.

Other noteworthy contenders include Anora, Dune: Part Two, and The Substance.

However, there were some surprises. Jesse Eisenberg’s A Real Pain was surprisingly excluded from the Best Picture category, and notable actresses such as Angelina Jolie (Maria) and Nicole Kidman (Babygirl) missed out on nominations.

The announcement was presented by Bowen Yang and Rachel Sennott, with a brief introduction by Academy president Janet Yang and CEO Bill Kramer.

They acknowledged the devastating impact of the recent LA fires and promised the upcoming ceremony would honor first responders and celebrate the resilience of Los Angeles and the film industry.

Unlike last year’s ceremony, where Oppenheimer dominated as the clear favorite, this year’s race for Best Picture appears much closer.

The Academy Awards ceremony is set for Sunday, March 2, 2025.
