In a post shared on his Instagram page, Spyro explained that people often pressure him for favors, and if he declines, he faces insults.
The singer revealed that, on average, he spends at least N100,000 each time he steps out, whether it’s for charity or other causes.
According to him, this adds up to about N1.2 million monthly, or N15 million yearly.
He also highlighted how he faces constant demands wherever he goes to a restaurant, church, or even online people expect something from him but don’t consider his own struggles.
Spyro expressed appreciation for his fellow colleagues in the industry, acknowledging the difficult realities they face as well.
He wrote, “Really hard being a celebrity in this lagos. I told a guy I don’t have today and that I will see him next day and he rained insults on me.
“Every day I step out of my house I spend a minimum of 100k on givings, now let’s do the maths..let’s say I go out 3 time a week, that’s 300k per week making 1.2m per month and that’s about 15million a year KILODE
The singer added, “If I enter restaurant, BILLINGS go de wait me outside,I enter church, same thing… Enter estate same, carry phone enter online na same same …
“EVERYBODY wants to take but nobody de give you and nobody thinks of how you are fairing S/O to everyone of my colleagues out there going through this,ya’ll are the real MVP’s and I CELEBRATE you ▲
