Prime Boy Drags Mohbad’s Mother To Court, Demands N50m In Damages
Nigerian musician Owodunni Ibrahim, popularly known as Prime Boy, has taken legal action against Abosede Adeyemo-Aloba, the mother of the late singer Mohbad, over alleged defamatory remarks.

Prime Boy revealed this in an Instagram post where he shared a copy of the lawsuit he filed at the High Court in Lagos, Ikeja Judicial Division.
According to him, the lawsuit stems from a video interview Abosede granted on March 28, 2024, where she allegedly made false and damaging statements about him.
The musician claimed that these remarks, which spread across various media platforms and online news outlets, were intended to tarnish his reputation.
In the legal document, Primeboy is demanding ₦50 million in damages, accusing Mohbad’s mother of making “libelous, false, and malicious statements” that negatively affected his image in the eyes of the public.

KanyiDaily recalls that Primeboy previously took legal action against Mohbad’s wife, Omawunmi Aloba, urging her to reveal the truth about her husband’s death.
