Nigerian socialite and singer, Cubana Chief Priest was reportedly denied entry at the 17th Headies Awards.

The event, held on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at the Landmark Event Centre in Lagos, brought together some of the biggest names in music, entertainment, and society.

But things took an unexpected turn when Cubana Chief Priest, known for his flashy lifestyle and strong ties to Nigerian artists, was allegedly stopped from entering the main hall.

A video that has since gone viral on social media captured the moment security personnel blocked him at the entrance.

In the video, Cubana could be seen talking to the security team, apparently trying to sort out the situation.

Although the exact reason he was denied access hasn’t been confirmed, some reports suggest it may have been due to issues with his accreditation or invitation.
