Osun House Of Reps Member, Oluwole Oke Resigns From PDP

A member of the House of Representatives, Oluwole Oke has parted ways with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Okuwole Oke served six terms in the House of Representatives and represents Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency in Osun State.

In his resignation letter, dated April 16, 2025, Oke said the decision came after discussions with his political allies, friends, and family.

The letter was addressed to the PDP chairman in Ward 7 of Obokun Local Government Area of the state.

In a phone chat with PUNCH, Oke confirmed his exit from the party, saying simply, “I have resigned from the PDP.”

While he didn’t reveal his next political step, Wole Oke called on his loyalists and supporters to also leave the party and stay tuned for further instructions.

Meanwhile, Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo has slammed the state’s chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), accusing them of twisting his support for President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
