Elon Musk Reveals Why He Regret His Social Media Posts Against President Trump

Tesla CEO and X owner, Elon Musk has admitted he went too far in some of his recent social media posts against the U.S President Donald Trump during their public fallout.

The feud between the billionaire tech mogul and the president erupted over a controversial proposal known as the “Big Beautiful Bill,” currently under debate in Congress.

Elon Musk opposed the bill, arguing it would worsen the national debt.

Their disagreement grew more intense after Musk stepped down from his role leading the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), a government cost-cutting agency.

During the dispute, Musk took to his platform, X, to lash out at Trump, accusing the president of being ungrateful and even claimed responsibility for Trump’s 2024 election win.

In another post, Musk stirred controversy by suggesting that the Justice Department was hiding files related to the Jeffrey Epstein investigation because they allegedly implicate Trump.

On the other side, Trump voiced his frustration during a press briefing at the Oval Office, accusing Musk of switching sides on the bill only after key electric vehicle incentives were removed.

On Wednesday, Elon Musk seemed to backtrack, admitting that he had crossed the line.

I regret some of my posts about President @realDonaldTrump last week. They went too far,” he wrote on X.

Musk’s expression of regret came just days after Trump warned him of “serious consequences” if he tried to go after Republican lawmakers who supported a controversial spending bill.

KanyiDaily recalls that Elon Musk saw his net worth drop by $33.9 billion on Thursday after Tesla’s stock price tumbled 14%, wiping out $150 billion from the company’s market value.
