President Bola Tinubu has commissioned a new 300-bed specialist hospital located at Millennium Square in Kaduna State.

The facility, which has been named the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Specialist Hospital, is designed to provide advanced healthcare services to residents of the state and beyond.
The hospital includes nine major departments, covering areas such as maternal and child health, radiology and imaging, intensive care, and special care units, among others.
During the inauguration, Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State called on the president to support the development of a cancer treatment centre within the hospital, describing it as the only missing piece in the world-class facility.
The governor noted that the Nigerian Nuclear Regulatory Authority has already approved plans to include a nuclear and cancer care unit in the hospital.
In his response, President Tinubu praised the governor’s commitment to improving healthcare and said his administration would support the request.
“We’ve witnessed progress. You prioritise people. It is only a far-sighted leader who cares about his people that can establish this for their health care needs.
“I am very proud of what you are doing. I can assure you that our intervention is not in vain, and we will grant it,” Tinubu said.
The president arrived in Kaduna on Thursday to commission several state government projects.
He was received by high-profile dignitaries, including the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas; Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin; and the Emir of Zazzau, Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli.
Also present were several state governors like Hope Uzodimma (Imo), Babajide Sanwo-Olu (Lagos), Biodun Oyebanji (Ekiti), Monday Okpebholo (Edo), Umar Namadi (Jigawa), and AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq (Kwara).
KanyiDaily recalls that President Bola Tinubu paid a visit to Benue State on Wednesday to meet with survivors of the recent deadly attack on Yelewata community in Guma Local Government Area.
