According to Stella Dimoko Korkus on Saturday, August 2, IVD was reportedly picked up by authorities at the airport on Friday, August 1, as he attempted to travel to Qatar.
Insiders claimed the arrest is linked to an ongoing domestic violence case involving the death of his late wife, Bimbo Ogbonna, stressing that since the case is still in court, IVD is said to be under a travel restriction.
Sources also stated that the car dealer will remain in custody until Monday, August 4, when he is expected to be formally charged in court.
The blogger further claimed that Blessing CEO confirmed the arrest to close contacts and is actively trying to assist him in securing an administrative bail.

“The love of his life, Blessing CEO, has confirmed the arrest to sources and is running around to see how she can help him”.
Despite the reported arrest, Blessing CEO seemed unfazed on social media. She posted pictures of herself dressed in traditional bridal wear on Instagram, captioned: “Bride-to-be… Saturdays are for weddings.”
The post has left many people online puzzled, with some questioning whether the arrest truly happened or if the couple is simply trying to distract the public.
KanyiDaily recalls that Blessing CEO recently received a Mercedes-Benz from her lover, Ikechukwu Ogbonna, also known as IVD.
