“If Not For Music, I Would’ve Been An Oil Thief, Fraudster, Suicide Bomber” – Burna Boy [Video]

Nigerian superstar Burna Boy, has opened up about how different his life might have turned out if he hadn’t chosen music.

During a brief interview with a fan, the singer reflected on the possible paths he could have taken growing up in Port Harcourt.

According to him, without a career in music, he might have drifted into dangerous or unusual lifestyles.

Burna Boy listed possibilities ranging from oil theft and internet fraud to becoming a suicide bomber, basketball player, or even a prostitute.

There are many options, I could be stealing oil, I could be playing basket ball, I could be a fraudster, a suicide bomber, anything including a prostitute,” he said.

Burna Boy’s remarks stirred reactions online, with some fans wondering if he was joking, while others felt he was speaking from a place of honesty about the tough choices facing many young Nigerians.
