“I’m A Mommy” – Toke Makinwa Announces Birth Of Her First Child

Nigerian media personality Toke Makinwa has announced the birth of her first child, a baby girl.

The 40-year-old shared the joyful news on Instagram on Thursday, calling it the happiest moment of her life.

In her post, Toke Makinwa described her daughter as her greatest blessing and a miracle she had prayed for.

She wrote, “I”m a Mommy. This is the happiest I’ve ever been. My precious daughter, the love I never knew existed, my heart in another human being, my love.

“I have seen the goodness of God in my life time. I have seen God move and I no longer just hear of it, I see it. It ended in praise, My miracle is here.”

Makinwa also revealed her daughter’s name as “Yakira Eliana Olakitan Iyanuoluwa Ikeoluwa Adunola”, explaining that the names reflect her testimony of God’s goodness and faithfulness.

“Yakira Eliana, Olakitan, Iyanuoluwa, Ikeoluwa, Adunola. My purpose, my reason, my evidence. Thank you for choosing me, thank you for making me a mother.

“My hearts overflows with so much gratitude. God heard, God answered. Every single detail, down to your fingers and toes, oh he heard my prayers,” she added.

Earlier in August, Makinwa had revealed her pregnancy by debuting her baby bump.

She had previously spoken openly about her longing for motherhood, even joking once in a video with singer Falz that she might consider surrogacy to avoid “ruining her shape.”
