“I’m Waiting For Fake Love, Nobody Checked On Him” – Uriel Oputa Mourns Fabian Adibe’s Death

Big Brother Naija reality star, Uriel Oputa has expressed her grief following the death of veteran Nollywood actor, Fabian Adibe.

KanyiDaily recalls that Fabian Adibe died at the age of 82 in the early hours of Wednesday, August 20, 2025.

Taking to her Instagram story, Uriel Oputa described his death as a personal loss, revealing that nobody checked up on the late actor.

The BBNaija star hinted at the “fake love” that often follows such tragic news, adding that out of respect she would not say too much.

She wrote, “I’m just waiting for the fake love to start. I can’t say much out of respect, but you see this one here. It’s very personal to me, and I will say this: Nobody checked on my uncle.

“To my bestie Chi and her sister NK, God bless you both for what you did for Popsi. Rest on, sir”.

KanyiDaily recalls that Fabian Adibe previously narrated how he was jailed for 30 months after joining Biafran forces during the Nigerian civil war in 1967.
