Porsha Williams Drags Ex-Husband Simon Guobadia To Court Over $667k Debt

American reality TV star Porsha Williams has dragged her Nigerian ex-husband, Simon Guobadia, to court over alleged debt.

In the court documents, Porsha Williams accused Simon Guobadia of ignoring financial responsibilities ordered in their divorce settlement and claiming he owes her nearly $700,000.

Williams alleged Guobadia has failed to pay for several obligations, including upkeep of their former marital home, alimony, legal fees, and property taxes.

She described his refusal to comply as “a knowing, intentional, and ongoing disregard for this Court’s authority and the Final Judgment it issued.”

Williams, who ended her marriage to Guobadia in June after less than two years together, says the unpaid balance stands at $667,359.55.

She has asked the judge to hold him in contempt, adding that he could clear the debt by giving up his equity share in their previous home.

However, Simon Guobadia, told TMZ that he only learned about Porsha Williams’ latest filings through press reports.

He argued that the divorce case is currently before the Georgia Court of Appeals after he filed an appeal, dismissing the new claims as irrelevant.

Until then, those filings are tantamount to toilet tissue for the public’s consumption,” the businessman said.

The couple tied the knot in 2022, but Williams filed for divorce in February 2024, shortly after Guobadia was detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

At the time, the reality star insisted the split had nothing to do with his immigration issues, stressing that she wanted to focus on her family and future.

The financial dispute is the latest twist in their very public separation, and Guobadia has yet to make any further statement.

KanyiDaily recalls that Simon Guobadia expressed regrets for marrying Porsha Williams, claiming she married him because of his money.
