Funke Akindele Claps Back At Troll Who Shamed Her for Using ‘Nylon’ Despite Fame [Video]

Nollywood actress Funke Akindele has fired back at a social media user who mocked her for using a simple plastic bag to share food with her guests.

The actress had shared a video on Snapchat showing how she entertained some of her crew members during a visit to her home.

In the video, Funke Akindele was seen packing food for them in a yellow and black plastic bag.

One user quickly took a jab at her choice of packaging, writing: “Aunty Funke you are not posh at all. Why yellow and black nylon?”

Reacting in a video, the actress dismissed the troll with sarcasm, saying they could buy her fancy bags if they cared so much.

Akindele noted that she had already blocked them and reminding the critic that she’s older and deserves respect.

“Oh maybe I need to go and get plastic bags from Macy’s or Nordstrom. Elenu shipoti, you can come and buy nylon for me. I already blocked you. It’s a privilege for you to be seeing my snap.

“At least you can see I am an elderly person even if I am not old enough to be your mum. Wide mouth,” she said.

This isn’t the first time the actress has been trolled online, but once again, she made it clear that she has no patience for such remarks.
