Young Man Climbs Building In Katsina To Protest After In-Laws Took His Wife Away [Video]

Residents of the Sabuwar Kofa area in Katsina State were thrown into panic on Sunday after a young man climbed an unfinished building and refused to come down.

It was gathered that his action reportedly a dispute with his in-laws, who allegedly visited his home and took his wife away.

According to reports, the man insisted he would only come down from the building if his wife was returned to him.

A video circulating on Facebook shows the man sitting stubbornly on the edge of the structure while onlookers tried to persuade him to come down safely.

“Sunday this man climbed the end of this building in Sabuwar Kofa Katsina area, expressing his anger with his in-laws who came to his house and took his wife away.

“The man said he doesn’t come down until he is returned with his wife. He is the one who is videoing him and calling him a thief. He is not a thief, he wants his wife to be returned to him,” the report reads.

KanyiDaily also reported how a man, Adamu Muhammed Tenimu caused a stir at the Federal University Teaching Hospital in Lokoja, Kogi State, after he fainted upon hearing that his wife had given birth to triplets—all girls.
