Airport Officer Assaults Young Man For Posing Beside Helicopter That Flew Asake [Video]

An airport official has come under heavy criticism on social media after a video surfaced showing him attacking a young man.

The young man was attacked for posing beside a helicopter that flew singer Asake to his alma mater, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State, on Monday, December 22.

In the video, the young man could be seen happily taking photos next to the stationary helicopter before an airport worker approached him and ordered him to leave the area.

Clearly intimidated, the young man bowed and apologized, saying he did not know he had done anything wrong. The official then walked away, allowing him to remain near the helicopter.

Immediately, another officer suddenly rushed toward the young man and assaulted him, kicking and slapping him for posing near the aircraft.

The incident has triggered widespread anger online, with many Nigerians condemning the officer’s actions and calling on authorities to discipline him for the attack.

KanyiDaily also shared another video showing Asake’s baby mama, Khadijat, selling roasted corn by the roadside which stirred reactions on social media.
